2011-01-31 Second Fire in 24 Hours for "29 House"
January 31, 2011 - Around noon on 1/31/11 Firebox 38-9 was struck reporting a dwelling fire at 12810 Manor Road in Glen Arm.Engine 292 responded immediately with 5 volutneers as the third due engine company. First arriving Engine 471(Jacksonville VFC) reported a 2 story single family dwelling with heavy fire on division one side bravo, with visible extension into the second floor. A working fire profile and tanker strike was requested immediately. E 292 arrived on the scene and was instructed to ventilate the roof. Once this task was completed the crew reported to division one and completed extinguishment of the fire as well as overhaul. E 291, U 298, Br 294 responded as well. Units operated on the ascene for approximatwely two hours before reutrning to service.
