February 09, 2011 - FINAL INSPECTION OF NEW TRUCK 297
Feb 9-11, 2011 – Three members of the Truck Committee traveled to the Rosenbauer plant in Wyoming, Minnesota (about 45 minutes north of Minneapolis) to perform the final inspection of the new Truck 297. Those present for final inspection were extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and overall operation of the new truck.
After final inspection, the truck will undergo a few minor tweaks and adjustments before it makes the trek to DPC Emergency Equipment (Marydel, DE) for dealer check-in and equipment mounting prior to final delivery to the Providence VFC. Final lettering will be performed by Shoreline Emergency Vehicle Graphics to match existing Providence apparatus.
Final delivery to Providence VFC is anticipated in late March.
