2011-02-25 House Fire in Jacksonville
March 05, 2011 - Dwelling Fire in Jacksonville. Firebox 47-6
February 25th, 2011- During the evening hours, Firebox 47-6 was sounded for the dwelling fire on Carroll Mill Rd in Jacksonville. Station 29 immediately responded with E 291, E 292, B 294 with 10 volunteers. E 471 went on location with a 2 story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing from the first and second floors. A working fire and tanker strike team was requested. Crews attempted an aggressive interior attack, however were ordered to evacuate due to the lack of water. Crews worked into the early morning hours to extinguish the fire. The cause is under investigation.
