National Night Out 2011
August 02, 2011 - August 2, 2011 marked the "National Night Out". Citizens On Patrol (COP) groups from all over the country came together in a show of unity against crime. Once again, the members of the Providence Volunteer Fire Company were in the lead of this years Towson COP motorcade through over 20 of the Towson area neighborhoods. Elected leaders, representatives from the Baltimore County Police Department, Towson University Police Department, and the COP members gathered at Towson Place for the beginning for the motorcade. The Towson COP presented Lieutenant Denning with a generous monetary donation in show of support for the Providence VFC's contribution to keeping Towson Safe.
