  • Fire Suppression
  • Rescue of victims trapped by fire or motor vehicle accident
  • Building/Trench Collapse Rescue
  • Driving and maintaining emergency vehicles
  • First Responder Emergency Medical Care
  • Providing various public assistance, inspection, investigation, and educational services
  • Non emergency support services

Fighting fires not your thing?  Not a problem. Providence is also looking for members to help with the 'behind the scenes' jobs. We are always looking for professionals to help with legal advice, fund raising, community relations. The ‘Ladies Auxiliary, which coordinates various community events such as the annual community Easter Egg Party and Halloween party, is always looking for new members that don't fight fires.

LIVE-IN PROGRAM - FREE OFF CAMPUS LIVING! The Providence Volunteer Fire Company is offering a live-in program to College Students. This is an opportunity for College Students to live at our station and gain Fire Department experience while attending school. Preference is given to those with previous fire service training/experience.
