First Due Rescue on Loch Raven Drive
Early in the morning of July 2nd, Truck 297, staffed with five of our highly trained volunteers, responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on I-695. They arrived to find a tractor-trailer that had driven off the highway, with the driver trapped inside.
Truck 297 immediately began working with Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company to stabilize the overturned vehicle and extricate the entrapped driver. They were assisted by additional resources from the Baltimore County Fire Department and Baltimore City Fire Department

Due to the complex nature of the incident and the challenging location of the tractor-trailer, crews operated for several hours to safely free the driver. The driver was then transported to a nearby hospital.
