At 02:30, on January 6th 2023, Engine 291 was alerted for a house fire in a 38-3 box (Long Green). Units arrived on scene to find fire coming from an attached garage. A working fire and tanker strike team were then requested. Engine 291’s crew of seven firefighters advanced two lines into the structure. Crews remained on scene for 3.5 hours before going back in service. The cause is still under investigation.
