The Officers and Members of the Providence Volunteer Fire Company are proud to announce the addition of five (5) SEEK RevealFirePro thermal imaging cameras to Engine 291 (2) and Truck 297 (3). The addition of these cameras dramatically enhances the ability of our personnel to perform search and rescue operations in a smoke filled environment. They supplement the larger thermal imaging cameras used by the officer in both our Engine and Truck. These new cameras will assist interior crews with locating hot spots and also enhance crew safety by aiding them in self-rescue should they become disoriented in zero-visibility conditions.
