
October 2021 Recap
October has been a busy month for the Providence Volunteer Fire Company. Providence ran a total of 120 calls for service in the month. Here is a sampling of the some of the calls we ran over this period; 14 motor vehicle collisions, 35 emergency medical service calls, and 3 major fires.

Working Fire at Royal Farms. 14-12 box. T297 vented the roof and assisted in suppression operations.

29 (first due) fire. T297 knocked the fire with an extinguisher.

Fire at the Towson Pet ER. Crews put out a dryer that had caught fire and ventilated the smoke out the building.

10-14 McDonalds Fire in Parkville. T297 vented the roof and performed ventilation operations.
As we head into the colder months be sure to practice fire safety behavior. Make sure you have working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and get your chimney swept and inspected professionally.
